sorry for the newbie question: I am confused regarding the difference between DVD-Audio vs. Audio DVD linked here. I have downloaded, burned, and successfully played DVD audio of other titles on my Bluray player and I have learned through trial and error that my player is not SACD capable. I even have Anathema's previous disc (Because We're here) on DVD Audio that plays on my player, so I felt certain that this DVD audio would play - However, it does not (It does play on my non 5.1 connected computer, so the file is good!) Based on the file size of these downloads - it seems that the middle links for "DVD" are quite small (200MB) and must be significantly lossy. I'm not sure how DVD audio (2.98 Gb) relates to the "DVD" links. Im currently Dl'd the flac version. Any help would be appreciated

thank you for the response! Quick question: for the 5.1 flac version - I was only able to burn it on a CD with imgburn (appears to convert the flac to reduce filesize) but it only produces a 2 channel CD. Is the linked flac truly 5.1 channel? Is it necessary to convert it to burn to CD/DVD to retain 6 channels? Sorry; confused with the terminology.

This FLAC is not for CD, because 48kHz.
DVD-Audio - for DVD
Audio-DVD - for DVD
For CD only DTS 5.1 (44.1kHz) which, unfortunately, there is no.

OK, thanks. I will have to research because imgburn will not let me burn the flac (*.cue) to DVD. Imgburn is telling me the image is "Audio 2352" format and it cannot be burned to "mode1/2048" DVD. I have googled and read online that "Audio 2352" is for CD - but obviously the flac file is too large for CD... Perhaps another software for burning? I see no other options with imgburn

I downloaded part 3 of DVD-Audio from exload but extraction failed with the message:
"Anathema_Weather.Systems.2012.DVDAudio.part3.rar: Checksum error in Anathema_Weather.Systems.2012.DVDAudio\Anathema - Weather Systems - DVD-Audio.iso. The file is corrupt"
I can't download part 3 from datafile.
Please re-up!
